Jacobs Interior Design
When we completed building our house, we suddenly found ourselves with the unexpected need to furnish beautiful new home. Being true design lovers, we were looking for something unique and different. If necessity is the mother of invention, then our quest for genuinely original furniture design and superior quality is just one of these cases.
We found a carpenter who took over our garage and turned it into his workshop. Our lovely new house also became our manufacturing plant, allowing us to come up with the ideas and ensure the highest finish levels on every piece that came out of the garage workshop.
Jessica who had previously worked at Herman Miller for 7 years, already had a unique experience in furniture design. She worked out the designs, which in turn the carpenter would bring to life under our supervision.
This improvised solution for our immediate needs and the hands-on experience we gained in the process led to some friends and acquaintances beginning to ask us for new and unique furniture and house accessories.
This is how our now 20-year adventure in furniture manufacturing began.
Like all adventures, it has not always has not been easy, but through the experience acquired throughout the years and the constant effort, in training and technology, today we are experts at delivering large-scale projects such as restaurants, hotels and large real estate developments, without ever sacrificing design or quality for convenience.
